I decided I wasn’t going to drop the Top 72 Prospects list until after my trip to camp, so I could get some questions answered and grab some added looks. But there are a few more immediate prospect-related notes to get to — plus I’m ready to roll out a “Best Tools” rundown from the Rangers system (with multiple players in each category), which includes many of the names you’d expect but also a few well off the radar.
Before that, I wanted to hit on some roster-related things that popped out at me, in connection with both the first two days of minor-league exhibition games and tomorrow’s Spring Breakout contest against the Reds.
