There are none.

I’ve been grappling for about a week with an urge to write more than I have, tempered by a stronger urge not to throw something out there that felt more like filler than advancing any useful storyline.

The best camps are the ones in which the above-the-fold stories are human interest dives, rather than physical setbacks. Prospects opening eyes, not clubhouse drama. And while I’m all in on aggregating those things each Sunday, for the most part — though not always — I tend to convince myself that writing extensively on those topics in standalone form is overkill, when there are very good reporters on the ground in Surprise delivering on those subjects.

That’s about to change.
