December 5 Plus

Stealing from something I wrote about the players on December 1: They get it. Steven Rowe, Thomas Diamond, Michael Schlact, and Johnny Whittleman understand the responsibility of player to fan.

I want to thank the four of them for spending their Monday night in Dallas with us, signing autographs and answering your questions for more than two hours. Thanks also to the predictably dynamic Will Carroll, Joe Sheehan, and Tom Gorman of Baseball Prospectus, and to Mike Rhyner and Kurt Daniels and Brady Tinker for coming, too.
