Fall Instructs, 2024: Day 1.

Highlighted by one former top prospect and two who could be headed that way.

There’s always a minimal checklist that I come to Fall Instructs with. Mark down the road games. Set up a dinner or two with coaches and player development people. Lay eyes on Paulino Santana for the first time, and put a game to the name. Scout out a place to watch Kumar’s MLB debut.

But the ultimate objective is always to let the game come to me. Trust the force. Keep plans to a minimum, with an open mind and a bare agenda.
