Fall Instructs, 2024: Day 2.

Thursday was a day for the first-rounders.

Hours before the Rangers’ first-round draft pick in 2022 befuddled and carved up a playoff-hunting Seattle Mariners lineup, aided by an early home run from the 2019 first-rounder in a game in which the 2023 first-rounder ultimately set up the tying run and scored the winning run himself in the eighth (after which that 2019 first-rounder turned in a standout defensive play in the ninth), the organization’s first-round pick in 2024 did a big thing.
