Better get while the gettin’s good.

You’ve been playing out of your minds for almost a month now. It’s gotten you a half-game lead.

Over a team that’s had eight pitchers on the DL, seven of whom are still there now. Five of them are core guys.

Three starting position players, too, a pair of whom have been two of the club’s three best hitters this season and are still shut down.

Good work.

Those guys a half-game back are going to get healthier.

And they’re going to add a piece or two next month.
