Hurley on the DL

The Rangers have placed Frisco righthander Eric Hurley on the disabled list with a strained oblique muscle. Probably no cause for alarm, and his innings count was beginning to mount anyway (he's 17.2 frames short of his 2005 total).

Bakersfield righty Doug Mathis (who is having a solid season of his own) moves up to Frisco, and two pitchers head to Bakersfield: rehabbing righthander Armando Galarraga, who departs Spokane, and Arizona League righthander Shannon Wirth.
