Pre-Draft signings
The Rangers announced that they have signed University of Tennessee Chris Kemp and University of the Pacific righthander Luke Massetti, both of whom were small-window free agents since they were fifth-year seniors in 2006, and Mount Hood Community College draft-and-follow outfielder Tim Rodriguez, whom Texas drafted in last summer's 37th round.
