Sardinas reportedly signed.
From Baseball America minutes ago: Multiple sources confirmed that the Rangers have signed 16-year-old Luis Sardinas, a switch-hitting shortstop from Venezuela. No terms of the deal are available, but the bonus is believed to be at least $1 million. Sardinas, who is 6-foot, 150 pounds, was one of the best defensive shortstops on the market this year from Latin America with excellent hands and good range. The Rangers are also expected to sign Jurickson Profar a righthander/shortstop from Curacao.
