We’re days away from minor league assignments. It’s highly unlikely that this game will have factored in at all in terms of any single player’s ticket to Round Rock, Frisco, Hub City, Hickory, or the backfields for Extended Spring until the Complex League kicks off in May — but it was cool to see the system’s prospects teaming up against a Royals squad and imagining the journey for some leading eventually to Arlington.
