For this daylight savings edition, I share my gratitude that I inadvertently planned my Arizona trips for the four nights before the one on which we lost an overnight hour. I sleep really well in Arizona. Such a recharge.
Ball is underway, and the official race gets rolling in fewer than three weeks.

There aren’t many positions on the field — or really, roles on the position-player half of the club — at which a legitimate camp competition is being held. Center field, or at least how it will be staffed against left-handed pitchers, is probably foremost among them.
