A weekly compendium emptying the bench, with Rangers developments, rumors, and takes — and yes, a little TROT COFFEY.
After losing seven straight series and eight of nine since the All-Star Break, effectively running any postseason chances off the tracks, the Rangers have won four series out of five and are guaranteed of at least a tie going into today’s finale of their series with the Angels. Things would have gotten very interesting had they come out of the Break like this.
Regardless, good to see some life in the team. A strong finish would be encouraging.
