As we move into the middle third of this exercise, we’ve got some early game results to avoid overreacting to — but not many. Several prospects in this group of 12 are rehabbing injuries, remaining back in Surprise along with one healthy teenager featured here whose first stateside season will get underway when the complex league schedule opens in May.
This list also includes some players who have stalled to a degree, but whose upside keeps them ranked in hopes that they’re able to get their trajectories pointed back up with a big year. Also featured are a pair of Round Rock teammates who now sit back-to-back in my rankings, after slotting 42 spots apart just eight months ago.
On to the players I have at No. 37 through No. 48 in the Rangers system, starting with a pair of players at very different career stages who are weeks away from joining an affiliate and getting what the Rangers hope will be a big year rolling.
