It was announced after Tuesday's game that closer C.J. Wilson, who has been trying to pitch through bone spurs, is headed to the disabled list and to Los Angeles for a consultation with elbow specialist Dr. Lewis Yocum. Elbow surgery, according to Wilson, is inevitable, though it's not certain how soon he'll have the procedure done. It is fairly clear, however, that Wilson will miss a meaningful amount of time.
