CWS need a SS, so a package headlined with JHS, Teodo, White, Bratt, & a change of scenery type (Huff, Wendzel, or Harris) might get it done. Maybe they throw Kopech in there too, but either way I don’t mind.
As far as a LHH, maybe CHC are willing to deal the pricey Bellinger. He has an opt out after the season he could exercise to hit the market again.
Semien needs more days off...his bat is strong after that,< Of course, when it was "one pitch, one out" I as already muttering some not so nice words. Jamey...what do you think of Josh Smith as our possible lead off hitter?? Or is that something we need to look for in the trade market or FA?
I thought about what you said yesterday when Marcus hammered that home run in the 7th. I’d love to see him follow this with a good run of solid hitting. Nice to get a late inning comeback win, even if it shouldn’t have been necessary. Let’s get out the brooms for a sweep!
